As of today, 193 players had reached 1,000,000,000 or more points. Of those, 4 had no current alliance affiliation. Eleven alliances had more than 3 players at this level

H? 37
Soon 18
vCrow 14
Shade 11
VIC 10
CalCr 7
RES 7
NC 6
mCrow 5
TCol 5
Aesir 4

40 different alliances had between 1 and 3 members among this group.

The score in points is not equal to power.

Yeah, the rankings are a little misleading.  Well, a lot misleading.  It's probably a pretty accurate view of who has the most large players though, at least in vague terms.

Power comes in many forms not just in points . But you would think with that many points they would have power. Depends on what points they have in what category among other thing's. That is a lot of points either way and congrats to all who have it . Takes a long time a lot of work to reach that high point level. You have put your time in and earned it in point totals. Again congrats

While points are not equal to power they are proportional and readily available.  It would be interesting to see if someone has a formula for what 'power' equals.  But until then I think points will do nicely.

I think is of particular interest that very few players who are 'powerful' don't have alliances.

Awesome stats.

You need to define what you mean by powerful.  Do you mean in a political sense or physical, or something else?

In terms of raw lethality, I think defense score is a good proxy. You can get attack points in tournaments or by hunting, but that doesn't correlate well to martial power. Sieging a live target produces a lot of defensive casualties. You can scam trade, diplomacy, and magic. Tech isn't a useful indicator. Population is just size; there are many very lethal players below 100,000 population, and many chubby couch potatoes over 200,000.

Perhaps we should design our own 'power' formula based upon the ranking available to all.

Population, defense and attack will have high 'weights'

Diplo, magic, trade have low 'weights'

Quest and Tech are pretty much useless to the 'power' equation.

Anybody good at writing scripts that can grab all that information then produce a new 'power' list?
