Did the miners guild research & built the guild but when I tried to make a miner they weren't there , neither the marketplace or the train trade units tab. Did I do something wrong? Can't find anything on forum.

Have you researched Geology? The Miner's Guild research only allowed you to build a guild. You need Geology to train miners.

oh ok I was already doing that , just waiting for it to finish. I assume it is the same for skinners.
