I hate to ruin it for you, but throughout history there have been hundreds, thousands even of doom sayers and crazy people saying the world will end. Wasn't the last one meant to be a few weeks back. Guess what... still here!
When the world does eventually end we'll all have been worm food for millennia so there is no point worrying about it.
If there is a zombie apocalypse next year though as some coots suggest I intend to leave this life the same way I entered... kicking and screaming!
And if the zombies do get me and turn me I'll do what I did before I was born and feed off someone else!

I would just act like it was a normal day ( because i always forget important days) until I notice comets are hitting the earth and then I would panic and die.

My question is this: How can the Mayans predict the end of the world when they can't even predict getting wiped out by the Spaniards?

They did - which is essentially why they got wiped out by the Conquistors. They thought it was the end of their world and the natural course of things so didn't fight back.

*facepalm* The AZTECS predicted that their god would return to them in the same year that Cortes landed on their coast, 1519. Also, they predicted that their god would have white skin, a beard, and wear a pot on his head. They gave Cortes and his men everything they wanted until they realized that the Conquistadores were mortal. Then, they attacked Cortes, and disposed of their leader, Montezuma (From the halls of montezuma, to the shores of tripoli, etc.) Later, Cortes came back with a bigger army and destroyed the rest of the Aztecs.
The MAYANS are thought to have mostly died out from disease, although they also bred with the spanish.

i would be contributing to the mayhem by causing more mayhem;) so maybe getting on a radio and aying all the nukes in the world have launched(not funny but watching people believe it is) mooning people or by celebrating with fireworks. or i might just sit on the porch and flick people off. but for everyones info i am an American and i don't think America will raptured or whatever it is.and no one can threaten me with that eternal pit of fire because I'm already there lol
