It's fairly common for forums admins to disallow public discussion of modding actions, as it tends to erode community respect for the authorities. Admins with such a policy usually welcome any and all comments and feedback on modding actions via PM. On the other hand, said admins also post those policies in prominent positions on their forums, often in more than one place.
So yeah, You should know better, because it's so common; but they should also know that rules should be posted before they are enforced. I suggest both sides admit their fault, correct their mistakes, and move on with the topic at hand...or let it (the topic at hand) die, as the case may be.
After all, I dont think anyone has anything new to say on the topic. They may have new ways to say it, but it's all been said before.
Just my opinions, in case anyone is interested.

Alert! Danger is upon all god fearing men and women of freedom! The Dlords and WOTP have began their quest for Illyriad subjugation and world domination!
Gigi attacked several WOTP's members and they had the ARROGANCE to respond in self 'defence', extracting a measure of 'justice'.
What to do with the DLords and WOTP?
Is anyone one safe? Are your children? Could WOTP or Dlords kill your children? Im not SAYING they will, I'm simply asking the question. Can DLords or WOTP prove they WONT kill our children?!
Freedom is at stake from these potential baby killers and Im reminded of a quote. Im not saying its a Nazi reference Im simply saying ITS RELEVANT HERE! -
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - because I was not a trade unionist;

as laccy put it, gigi was a loose cannon, attacking members, even if not in war and containued attacking
CranK showed he wasn't attacking newbs anymore, so he was no longer a danger
also in the orgining mail, it was wise,dlord, wotps, and h?, and according to the mail wotp sent out, they where only attacking wotp members, h? must just love attacking our member ;)
also @ miaa you need to understand, it was the fact that h? will say they commited "war crimes" they wont actually, h? will hit for no reason, surely you must have caught on to that?(it went hand in hand with the quote, they unfairly went for us, no one stood up, next they will go unfairly for invictus, tranquil vision or someone powerful, and again no one will stand up)
and yea I'm lumping you in with H? as it does say in your alliance page "
We are a sister alliance to Harmless?" so you are a family of alliances and therefore can be lumped together

I can't really believe I'm doing this, but I'm going to say it one more time if only to point out how much rubbish you spout. So, for the last time:
H? Have never attacked anyone without severe provocation and without being attacked first. We always try diplomacy and only go all out when left no other option.
CranK was a senior member of a coalition who stated that they wanted to totally remove us from the game and then proceeded to attack us to back up their stated goals.
As a result of that we have taken action against most of the leaders of that coalition, action which is now close to completion. After that it's done. In taking that action we have been very restrained, more so that our attackers would have been if the situation were reversed. The vast majority of all combatants have been left completely untouched - again not something that would have happened to us if we'd have lost.
We will not be swayed by lies, exaggeration and rabble rousing such as that exhibited in this thread, nor by the transparent attempts to tarnish our image. In fact, said attempts merely make us more resolute in our desire to follow through with our limited retribution.
Finally, I find it frankly hilarious that your alliance title is diplomat since you've done more to ensure the destruction of CranK's capital than anyone else. I hope you're satisfied with the results of your efforts.

why can't you people just believe what happened if people stopped playing because they were defeated,well to
*Removed* bad. If they can't take being beat, which happens in war, then they don't deserve to be playing anyway. H?'s actions seem justified to me.
Yeah i suppose that maybe there was something that they could have done, well to bad what has happened has happened. A good idea would be for everyone not to mess with the top ranked alliance anyway, that's suicide.

CranK is no longer a threat and wants to "turn over a new leaf" so to speak. You have another option. Will you take it? If CranK agreed to a payment for all damages, would you take it? CranK, would you agree to pay it?

Irrelevant and his role was very limted. Also disputed, though given it may have been Diablito's goal, the rest may have just seen it as RPing bluster. Besides, it's not really possible to do that unless the player themself quits. I simply agree to disagree on this part though.

Most leaders? Not all? I thought this was your core argument that he was a leader, why not the other leaders? This is more and more looking like you guys have a persona vendetta against CranK himself. This isn't about playing a game anymore, but attacking someone personally. As for whether anyone in BLACK would have not been as restrained as you, that is also disputed. We'll never know since they lost. Even before this, I've never bought this WHITE is the devil incarnate crap that H? always spouted, I never bought the crap WHITE spouted either. Only H? has the luxury of proving WHITE wrong and I hope H? takes advantage of that luxury.

I haven't seen any lies or rabble rousing (can't deny exaggeration) and I don't believe anyone's goal has been simply to tarnish your image. If your image is tarnished, only your own actions have done so. I haven't heard anyone say "H? is a bad and evil alliance", but we have said your wrong on a few issues. Your accusations otherwise are like accusing people who protest government decisions of being unpatriotic or accusing a couple who has one fight of hating each other. We don't have to like everything you do. That said, this has been a heated discussion, and I apologize for the aggresiveness for which I have argued this topic. I recognize the good and the civility in the way H? has conducted itself in 95% of the game. I have tried to stress that my complaint is on this one issue alone. Once we agree to disagree, maybe we can get on with the game and look forward to the new enhancements.
