when I'm waiting for res to reach a certain amount to upgrade a building, I can't watch that building's page because even when my res goes past the requirements, the upgrade button doesn't appear until I go to another page then return.

I think that it should be fairly easy to make the button appear in-place as soon as the res becomes available without needing to navigate away first.

If I could get illytools to work, I'd have a go with that myself

My vague ideas how stuff works in the three parts of the page (or more, counting chat windows) suggest that this is not really easy, if the script responsible to update the available resources shown in the top part never talks to whatever is shown in the main part.   Maybe it would be simpler to offer a "try again" button in the main part. Question

I think the page has to refresh before the button would show as available.  Probably they don't automatically refresh the pages all that often.

/me is at the limit of her EXTREMELY limited understanding of How Things Work.

Let me see if I can inform you a little:
If the little guy in my computer who's counting the res as they accrue will just talk to the dude who's in charge of the button, the problem would be fixed; it seems that they have something against each other, though, which is quite unfortunate as they have to share such cramped quarters. I'm not sure who the middle man is in their communication, but he seems to do a decent job upon request.
