Updates (30MAR):
Top icon bar - Summary pages

Extra numeric info has been added to the icons on the top bar to show you the events currently active in that category.

• At the left of an icon against a green background are your items, events and effects.
• At the right of an icon against a red background are hostile items, events and effects.
• At the bottom of an icon against a blue background are friendly items, events and effects.

The items now shown are :

• Town Map
• Green Left: The number building upgrades being undertaken in this town
• Red Right: The number of buildings being demolished in this town
• Military Summary
• Green Left: The number of your armies on missions
• Red Right: The number of hostile armies to this town
• Blue Bottom: The number of friendly reinforcing armies to this town
• Diplomatic Summary
• Green Left: The number of your your diplomatic missions from this town
• Red Right: The number of hostile diplomatic missions to this town
• Trade Summary
• Green Left: The number of your trades in motion, harvesting operations and trade offers from this town
• Blue Bottom: The number of incoming trades to this town
• Research Summary
• Green Left: The number of research items in progress in this town
• Magic Summary
• Green Left: The number of your spells cast from this town
• Red Right: The number of hostile spells cast on this town
• Blue Bottom: The number of friendly spells cast on this town
• Mail
• Green Left: The number of unread messages you have

Additionally when you click on these numbers it will provide you with a little more detail - for example when the next item completes.

Military Summary

Now additionally shows :

• Hostile army encampments
• Friendly reinforcement encampments

And your reinforcing armies have been added to your Army encampment section - naturally all with links to the map so you can see where they are.

Oh where are my caravans, and what are they doing?

Caravans that were harvesting would go incommunicado when they set up camp. They now report back where they are, what they are doing and how long they will be doing it for, before returning home.

Additionally you can quickly jump from the Trade Summary to their location on the map.

We have also added any caravans you might have servicing your trade offers, so you can swiftly understand what all your caravans are doing.

Diplomacy Unit Changes

No wait! These are good changes that you'll like this time...

Scouts (Basic & Advanced) can now scout an Occupying army encampment. You can either send your scouts to an X|Y location, or simply click the link from the world map.

Scouts (Basic & Advanced) now report on exactly who owns a Reinforcing army.

Spies (Basic & Advanced) report not only on the buildings and levels in a town, but now also report on the current resource levels of all resources except Mana & Research.

Quest Information

Quests now tell you what is required to ship out before you accept the quest, and it also highlights if there are particular skill requirements (such as the Bartering technology) so players can make better informed decisions as to whether they can complete a quest or not before they accept it.

The right hand column stretched out for me, perhaps the progress bars of our research/buildings progress could be vertical instead of horizontal, then they'd fit.

Hey Bow,

No, nothing that's your fault - see Herald.

This is a temporary change for 1024x768 screen resolution users; to stop the horrible horizontal scroll bar you get (and which gets *lots* of complaints).

The information that used to be on the right hand side is now elsewhere (see Herald), but will be moving into the popups up top when you click on the numbered boxes.
