Rank Player Alliance Score

1 twilights [DARK] Dark Empire [DARK] 93,027,949,024

2 darkkisser [TNH] The Night Hunters [TNH] 91,226,186,218

No prizes for guessing who the alt of twilights is.

To put it into context... the next highest trade rank is almost 1/10th of these two accounts.

As innoble I think pointed out: The effect of this is to make everyone else in the game's trade scores completely meaningless in terms of it's contribution to their overall score.

Is it right that one player with an alt, a gold stack, and WAY too much time on their hands can render every other player in the game's trade scores meaningless?

Tbh calling the trade system 'imperfect' is a bit of an understatement.

Actually, that's not twilight's alt...  ;)
And if, by chance, the measurement is borked from the get-go, does it really matter if it makes the scores without meaning?

A false hypothesis yields... what again?

If it isn't his alt then it is his buddy/friend/granny or whatever with a city very close-by... really it makes no difference what the exact relation between the accounts is - the effect is still the exact same.

And as I said in my previous post - no I'm not bothered about the meaningless trade scores - and I'm not trying to accuse twi/dark of anything (other than wasting their own time on a pointless grind).

I was merely pointing out their 'achievement' because I was surprised at how far anyone had bothered to grind away at score manipulations.

Ah well... I guess a lot of what goes on in internet gaming is "pointless" grinding. Take old school mmorpg which had people bashing the same monster for hours just to gain another level. They would get a big congrats for that also. I don't mind giving Twilight kudos for effort.

Of course it would be cooler if there was some kind of skill involved, but concentrated effort and single-mindedness can be admired as well :)

I think I might have tried the same if I wasn't playing only 1 account and if I didn't already know tradescores will be reset.

I think I told her last year that the trade scores will be reset, so she wouldn't be upset when they get rest. The way she talks when I bring it up to this day is that she doesn't care and wants it to be fixed. She does it for the ranking and when it is reset she will do her best to be number one again. I told her how the developers have said how the new trading ranking system will be. They probably changed it by now, but I can assure you she will do all that she can to be number one again.

Its just who she is. :P
