Topic: TMM is at it again Posted: 20 Nov 2010 at 01:32 |
|
Yesterday, TMM took notice of a small alliance inside the region that they claimed. This alliance, US, was growing peacefully on a small river delta. TMM didn't like this at all, and decided to attempt another of of their forced-merges. US, being an honorable alliance, said no to TMM's merge idea.
At midnight, TMM declared war on US. Nige, at the helm, has been cruel and very inhumane towards this pack of relatively new players. This type of behavior is not what Illyriad is known for, nor what it should be known for. US is actively fighting TMM off, but we don't stand a chance without the help of other, more honorable alliances.
Who is willing to stand up and say 'no' to these cowards, the ones that ignore large alliance like T? and go straight for the little guys?

Some times that's what it takes. TMM has been doing this since late October. They are claiming an entire region of the map for themselves, and forcing anyone inside it to join them or die. This region is full of new players, who spawn here all the time.

The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.

this significanty weakens your appeal, I konw that if I had a large enough army to assist, this would be a major factor, dont call yourself honourable and use emotional blackmail at the same time(and no, it is not needed)

Geez, Hypocrticial....get a clue
There is a topic in this forum about the threats from TMM against not only new players in T but any player in that area. In short, TMM's stance has been players either join them or we will eliminate you from our "territory*.
First TMM threatens new players and now they threaten a small alliance. US approached TMM about trying to work out a peaceful coexistence in that area. TMM's stance is merge or we'll eliminate you.
I'm sorry, they are bullies, they will drive anyone in their path out of this game.
Weakens their appeal, what about bullying new players, small player and small alliances don't you get it?

So for the last time - If I could bring him back I would, but his death will not affect the playing of our game. He actually was one of the guys who terrorised me a few months ago when he was in MK. He was a mean player. In real life I can be sorry he is dead. But in game terms, I owe the old MK a battering.
We have not asked you to concede very much but I think I have made our position very clear.
I will withdraw my invitation at midnight. |
By withdrawing his invitation, he is revoking our chance at peace. It's either merge or die, and the chance to merge was revoked at midnight.

We've all currently got incoming attacks, without any aggression on our part. They've attacked shandar already, and have planned to try and remove us all in one big hit.
