So it strikes me that these tournaments and jousts set up on Global Chat favor the attacker.
 
By using equal numbers for both attacker and defender, the attacker has an inherent advantage of firepower.  Perhaps a Defender could "auction" his action to the attacker that bids the _lowest_ number of units to attack with.  This _might_ give a defender a chance at a win.

I agree Dude. The game calculus favors attacker way more. Even troop type and commander ability does not mitigate this favoritism very much.

good... I don't wanna play another game where the object is to just blob up and pool all your resources into one place for an unholy stalemate.
