NC has had it used against them as well, luckily the devs were able to stop the attack just short of raze pop being reached. The attacking army did not recall on their own.

NC has ordered the recall of the bugged siege on Janosch. We are of the opinion that players in the game should not suffer due to game glitches.
I hope the community can maintain this level of respect for each other. We can all war with each other with respect and dignity for our enemy.

Spot on SB, speaking for myself, if anyone experiences this from an army of mine please let me know immediately and I will recall the army(s) immediately. I don't care who wins the war as long as they win fair and square.

@ GMs
On a similar note I had a siege attack a noob with rainbow protection who had unfortunately been placed where a player had exo'd away from my siege. |

I thank the Coalition and particularly Sir Bradley and Anjira for the withdrawal of the sieges around my city! (Though the sieges were not really around my city :( ) This change of mind from NC actually came too late for my city and it is completely demolished to pop 0…
Maybe this saved the player that exodused away? I wish I would have had the same luck.
However, we hope from now on both sides will recall the god dam siege prior to towns population getting to 0.

Janosch,
As I explained through igm, 5 camps bombarding 30 cats an hour do a tremendous amount of damage. By the time I was notified of the issue and gave the order to withdrawal the siege it was several hours later. To further complicate the matter the NC member who set up the siege camps had RL commitments that evening that pulled him away from the game until very late.
I am sorry we could not recall earlier. However, the full blame of this situation is on the Illyriad Development Team whom have not address the game glitch. The lack of response to this game glitch is a slap in the face to players who worked extremely hard to build their cities up. Janosch made a proactive decision to exodus away. That should be respected. However, now the city is essentially rendered useless.
As a sign of goodwill to the community I ask that the devs PLEASE address the issue. Players have spent their own money on cities. These are paying customers to Illyriad. They deserve more than being ignored when they lose their hard earned work due to system problems...
This issue was petitioned over a week ago when a member of NC fell victim to the same glitch. The Devs are well aware of it, yet it has not been dealt with.
Given the current server war at hand, I imagine further neglect to this issue will only harbour more negative goodwill.

And that, children, is how you turn a tech support thread into a PR stunt.
