Hamlick heard DSPN's musings about the funny votes.. and decided to speak up about his conclusion - While initially I believed it to be very suspect voting.. you will see one of them was indeed a dwarf.. so that throws the "two humans" out the window.. (Hence why I have gone no lynch.. not enough to convict someone)

Du
ín stumbled through the day deep in thought. It was clear that his fellow dwarves were being clever... but it was a type of cleverness that involved more logic than gut instinct and appreciation for chance. It was true; two dwarves HAD voted for the same person, however
Du
ín suspected this was more due to chance than collaboration. And chance just left you confused, chasing false leads and chasing shady figures into dark alleys... And THAT left you dead.
What to do?
Du
ín decided to spend another evening in the tavern, singing and mingling with the crowd. He'd watch for any suspicious faces, and vote accordingly... And maybe watch for dwarves who weren't there at all...

After a glum morning in the tavern common room, Forraid hiked to the local overlook, deep in thought. There was some inexplicable trouble here that disturbed her deeply. What motivated the death of the Guard of the deep mines? And why would a human impersonate a dwarf?! The fresh air and stony peaks gave the wandering dwarf merchant some peace, and she let go her questions.
As she walked back toward the town, the thought came to her that she would visit the forge of Roryn Skullsplitter. It was said that he was crafting a mighty axe for Queen Auraya. Perhaps the usually silent tavern drinker would speak with her...

Roryn paid no attention to the visitor in the door. It wasn't until an apprentice brought it to his notice that a dwarf he recognized was waiting for him. Motioning to her to wait, he finished the delicate step he was working on, and then quenched the axe in a water barrel.
"Forraid, isn't it? What brings you here today? Wait...I think I can guess. It's about the vote, right? I know that there are a few others who questioned my vote, but can you blame me? What dwarf doesn't care about mining? Or metals, or gems, or minerals? It's a way of life for us bearded folk. So until there is evidence pointing to the contrary, I believe that I shall still vote for Thes. Guilty until proven innocent, it's the dwarven way."
After giving what is possibly his longest speech in years, Roryn returns to his work, leaving Forraid with her own thoughts.

It was time for another vote. Queen Auraya looked at the pitifully small crowd in front of her and read the few votes she had.
Halithore: No lynch.
Thes: Moka
Ithilwien: Thes
Moka: Ithilwien
Scorpiain: No lynch
Aral: ElfLark
Bartok: Thes
ElfLark: Coltaine
Dspn: No lynch.
Again, the consensus was no kill tonight. Relieved, the Queen thanked all those who had attended and went in search of those who had not. She found traces of a quick getaway at the homes of Yoink, Nicanor, Caketin and Susan. It looked like the dwarves had simply fled in fear.
Continuing on, she found the dwellings of MilkWater, Meme and Vibs left unoccupied. Not a trace of them could be found - it was like they had never really been living here. As she walked on, looking for Mayflower, she realised that maybe they hadn't. Perhaps the dwellings were simply a cover for their nefarious human activities and with the death of Night Owl, they too had fled for their lives.
Mayflower was nowhere to be found but her room still held all her belongings. Speaking to the Tavernkeeper, she learned that Mayflower was spotted just this morning exploring an abandoned mine and Auraya hoped she had not gotten lost. It would be a great tragedy if something had happened to her - Auraya made a note to send a search party should she not return by tomorrow's vote.
Worried by all the disappearances, the now weary Queen started for home when she heard a scratching coming from outside Thes' house. It sounded like stone on metal, as though someone with a love of rocks were attempting to prise apart reinforced windows. heading to investigate, Auraya was greeted by the corpse of Selos Silverblade. She screamed. She then fainted.
Waking next morning, Queen Auraya thought perhaps she had had too much ale the previous night. Arriving home, her new guard informed her no deaths had occurred whilst she lay passed out in the street. That was comforting, at least.
[Sorry it took so long for me to post this.. I honestly thought more people would vote and I didn't want to have to kill 7 people off for activity. Mayflower will be killed off next vote if she doesn't attend too.. so if you see her, please remind her! The next vote is 48 hours from this post. Some interesting stuff happened tonight so.. discuss! ..and welcome back Ozy ;) ]

[Finally!]
Selos felt an inexorable pull, sucking his spirit away from his perch high above the settlement, up in the roof of the Cavern. A sudden, inexplicable fear seized his ghostly body. He couldn't understand it.... he was already dead, what did he have to fear?
His memories had faded, so he didn't know which house he was being sucked into... but it was familiar.
Then he flew through the wall, and saw his own corpse.
A flash of light blinded him, and then he felt sensation again. His eyes snapped open and he sucked in a breath of air.
Somehow he was alive again.

[welcome back ozy] [to clarify.. is this the necromancers work? or just adding a player as so many went inactive?]
Hamlick saw Selo's corpse rise from the ground outside of Thes house.. he muttered to himself "sod this" and headed into the nearest tavern.
