So I just started playing, can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere. I think I picked the wrong race and I wanted to reset my account and change it, but I don't know if you can or how to do it.
Is there a real difference between the races anyway?

Race difference is significant, but mostly in terms of starting conditions and which type of unit is strongest. I think the ability to reset an account is planned, but not here yet.

I don't know what to do then. I don't want to get into it and then the option comes to reset, and resetting means a big step down and a lot of time wasted. Anyone have any more info?

Are you aware that you are allowed to have up to two accounts? You could try out a couple races at once, at least.

Still there are some of us who disagree that allowing two accounts is a good idea.
Overall Stormcrow is a miracle maker. If you ask him nice he might be able to reset your account.
