I've set up my Paypal account and have used it before (on other games).
 
However, when I try to buy prestige, I run into a problem.  After logging on to Paypal and clicking all the buttons, the transaction window just swirls and swirls pretty much forever.  No error message. Nothing going through.
 
Any advice? Thanks

Try google checkout? Paypal is the absolute nut worst when it comes to payment processors online IME.
It's beyond fairytale, it's inconceivable!

I've had no problems with PayPal whatsoever. I used it yesterday for a Prestige purchase. Fast and easy.

Have you looked at the notifications in-game? A successful Prestige purchase shows there. The browser may have hung up but the purchase went through?

Well, you folks got me thinking. So I tried purchasing via Facebook credits (which end up in the same place), and that went through in a blink even though it was also going via PayPal. Everything's good now. Thanks for suggesting those other work-arounds.

Use the "guest" login function at the bottom of the pop up and enter you info from scratch - It worked for me.

I had to disable the security SMS feature (out of band confirmation) to buy prestige here.  IOW, go to Paypal, disable security, buy prestige, re-enable security.  Tested twice. Thumbs Down
