So, basically, they're afraid to enter in a fight you see as righteous for Valar and the only hope for a fair game in Illy and allowing Valar to get crushed?
Basically the opposite of what Lorre did? |
You should read my posts with more care. I said I'm neutral in the matter. I don't know where this fight is all about, so I can't really say who's righteous and who's not. All I meant to say is:
I can imagine people are intimidated by the might of the forces that are attacking Valar and therefore are to affraid to help their confederation, but I'm only guessing here as I am not in an alliance confederated with Valar.
Is that clear enough for you?

Can Valar help them when Valar themselves are embroiled in a 5 versus 1 battle? Ding ding ding! The answer is no!
And no, I have my reasons for not telling you who I am. Please respect that.

I've made my point and the arguments smack of desperation. If it were so unjust what was happening, half the server would stand up in disgust and protest. Like with the "rabble-rousing" that happened with Berberos, isn't that so Valar?

i'm not saying its injust, I'm asking for explanation, so I can see why this war is needed. Still, none of the participants have posted their reasons. What is it Valar did that is so bad? Please I want to hear it. I really want to believe you, but I hear no reasons

Smoking GNU, the point is will this be a better game without valar, and yes they are good at making enemies and all the targets so far I can see the motivation to attack them, however boromir is another matter, his towns are being culled off for being in valar rather than any specific actions or comments.
In a war boromir would be fair game, however this seems to have become removing what you consider an infected limb, but in that case you shouldn't remove the other leg as well.

Saying that your Confed partner is bad for Illy ... that's a very odd view for the de facto leader of a Confed alliance.
The idea that wars should exclude certain significant members of an alliance is ... baffling. I think this is clearly a War so all members of VALAR are fair game. To think that a player as important as Borormir should be left in reserve until VALAR decides to engage his forces is ludicrous.
Azreil said that 100% of his alliance will support him to the end. When Boromir exits VALAR, then perhaps, he can negotiate a separate peace for himself.
The rest of your comments imply that you KNOW the goals of the H? coalition are to eliminate certain players. KP has clearly stated this is NOT the goal of the war. Do you think KP is being disengenuous?
Unrelated to ED's quote above... I get a kick watching the pro-VALAR folks making all these public speeches about GC opinion. The alliances arrayed against VALAR have nothing to do with GC opinion. By the same token, the protestations on the forum will not alter the course of events, nor move public opinion much in any direction.
I am reminded of the 5 stages of grief
-
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance
Denial and Anger are very well expressed so far.

Okay so page 32 of this thread and I'm still not clear on something - who's this Lorre that everyone is speaking of?
Man! Our leadership really *doesn't* tell us anything!

Lorre is the founder of P A, a Crusader who is hell bent on removing anything "harmful" to illyriad.
Sums it up pretty well.
