I think there is one point in this aargaarbl that people are missing.
Where is Valars support? If they are being wronged in such a way as many of the people here point out (Ganged up on, witch hunt, mob rule, ect ect ect) Where is the overwhelming moral support for valar against the senseless aggressors. Where are their confeds? And if their confeds are assisting without declaring war or public announcements, WHY? Why are they ashamed to help out Valar openly?
Think about these questions for a while. |
As there are 5 alliances on the other side, much alliances who would maybe want to support Valar or at least think they are being wronged have diplomatic relations on the other side. And as odds are now, Valar is surely going to lose the war. Would you join in a war you would know you lose? This is the same thing as if America and and all of UN would gang up against... lets say Denmark (or any other country), because they didn't punish a criminal hard enough in their eyes. You think any country that supports Denmark in their action to stay true to their own laws would be so stupid to join in the war? Offcourse nobody joins in a war with such odds.

That was a pretty sufficient answer, if you understood what he said.

indeed i don't know as i am not in an alliance you reffering to. But if you read well I stated a reason that could be your answer: They are affraid to get in a fight that could completely destroy their alliance. I can't blame them for that. For myslef, I don't like witchhunts, but I know the hunters will eventually become the hunted. I see no need for me to take actions. I am neutral in this matter as I still haven't heard the reasons for this war, other then people saying they don't like the way Valar act. Personally I believe that can be solved in other ways then an all to one war.

So, basically, they're afraid to enter in a fight you see as righteous for Valar and the only hope for a fair game in Illy and allowing Valar to get crushed?
Basically the opposite of what Lorre did?

Why would Lorre be afraid when he knows that Harmless will help him?
Also, hi to Lorre.
