Recently a set of technologies have been added to speed up resource harvesting.  First of all: yay!
However, the name of the first technology, "chain gang", may be a poor choice.  The description for it is actually talking about what is usually called a "bucket brigade" (from its use in fire-fighting).
"Chain gang" actually refers to the practice of chaining prisoners together when you force them to do manual labor.  I don't get the impression that the developers meant this advancement uses forced labor.
In short, I'd recommend changing the "chain gang" tech name to "bucket brigade" or something else more fitting with the description.

I think perhaps you're being a little overly sensitive to what was doubtless not an intentional association.  Nevertheless the GM's may be willing to reconsider the chosen term, especially if you ask nicely...

By the way, "bucket brigade" is often replaced with "human chain" when referring to situations not involving fire or buckets, such as the loading or unloading of transport vehicles.

Always willing to reconsider names.  And yes, the "forced labour" connotation had sort-of passed us by in the dash to get the skills out there.

We did consider "Human Chain" but felt this would possibly annoy the Elves, Dwarves & Orcs ingame.

Bucket Brigade is too closely related to firefighting, I think.

Any other suggestions?

Very common practice in ye days of olden. We already pillage loot and kill in the thousands.

  • Loading Chains
  • Loading Lines
  • Chain Loading
