And the fact that we've already lost three towns and had two reduced to rubble, wasn't enough as a deterrent...?
If at any stage you guys had just said, hey guys, we don't want this war, we would have stopped, but you were willing participants, so don't cry about compensation.
Your like the guy who drinks to much then whines about how hard it is to function with a hangover.
BAM!!

I'm sorry, did you just complain about how much the war you willingly declared has cost you, and then in the same post accuse the alliance you declared it on of both being willing participants and whining about war damage? I must have misread that. I must have. Because you surely wouldn't have attached a plea for alliance invites to the end of such an obviously absurd post.
Regardless, I don't believe the purpose of war reparations is to completely cover the costs of a war, it's really more a symbolic thing. I can also see why having to let you take one town is an objectionable term, it's really just a slap in the face to an already defeated foe.

It was meant as a statement of fact...I just spoke to Zolvon, to correct the above post, it was lost 2 towns and had 2 reduced to rubble...
Not a complaint at all my new friend Aurodan, the consensus is that we have all had more fun/enjoyment/interest generated by this conflict than ever before in this game...
We've enjoyed a camaraderie that we all agree is lacking in bigger and less colourful alliances, a brothers in arms kind of thing. Obviously that feeling couldn't be reproduced by participating in an 'absurd' one-sided easy win situation.
That experience alone was priceless. Not to mention all the battle experience, and first hand knowledge of the siege mechanics of illyriad.
Yeah, hooray for BSH and CoK and SCH and TCol. Thanks for all the fish!!!
Im also pretty sure that LWO is ready to give up the one town pay the 100 million and move on...

I sincerely doubt LWO is going to pay - it looks like they're just dissolving instead. Membership is down to 3.

Doesn't make a difference if a simple mental note was made of all those who started problems

Woooo scary dum dum dum music ensues...
Have a wonderful day Carl. Are you the guy from the Nokia cameras, or is that just a coincidence?
Newsman - as far as I know, Zolvon is going to pay when he returns from fishing this afternoon, hopefully we have Kaiwhai for dinner, and peace for desert.

Well, here’s a thing… You go to bed and dream the dreams and wake up refreshed’
The sun is shining…
And find yourself homeless. Cast adrift. Alone in the big wide world.
No longer the pleasant breakfast in the chat room. No more listening to the gentle conversation “pass the jam pot old chap” or the rustle of papers being read, it’s all gone.
All that is left is the strident clamour of GC, the shouting, bellowing, deafening sound of hundreds of eager young voices. Far too much.
And they won’t let me back in.
Granlik (ex LWO)

Hiram_Sedai: Yes, someone will be voted off the island this week. Never fear, this weeks immunity challenge is going to be awesome!
