Topic: Login on phone/tablet help Posted: 17 Apr 2013 at 03:57 |
|
I've recently got a new windows phone 8 and an android tablet, and have been playing around with Illyriad on it. My biggest problem, however, is actually logging in.
When you login, the first option is to "Choose your Authentication", which is a regular listbox. I use an existing yahoo account as my login, which is the bottom-most option in the listbox. However, both on the Android & my windows phone, I do not have the ability to scroll this listbox to the lower options.
I have researched this topic to determine if there was a solution and have found it's a known issue with these devices. However, I still feel that it's very surprising that when I created a new account, about 90% of the gameplay elements are accessible, and the game is very playable. It's frustrating that the only thing preventing me from playing the game with my proper account is a single listbox.
Is there a specific url I can use to login using my yahoo account? I can login beforehand at yahoo's site, but afterwards I still have to select "yahoo" from the listbox in order to login, and I cannot do that. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just use my username to login without choosing from the list and it works fine.

That works with the new account I created, but not with the account I had setup with my yahoo email. typing in the character name and then my yahoo password fails to log me in.

try using the forgotten password link, that might allow you to reset your password. I don't know that for sure, though.

I'm not sure if that will work. I do have the password, i can login to the account using my PC (I'm doing it between attempts). I'll try it tomorrow and let you know if it helps.
