         New settlements in Kumala rumored to create new Islands alliance known as the Ashen:
Will explore Heart of Corruption
         

         
          Tale from the most remote Tavern in Illyriad!
Lord Alfhiem Yggdrasil is the last of the ancient royal line of Yggdrasil. 800 seasons ago, he learned his mother and father had been ordered by their King and Queen to assist Orcs and Dwarves divide and conquer the Humans of the Middle Kingdom. Upon learning this, he confronted his King and Queen and demanded they reconsider their plan--a demand they refused.
 Born with the mark of the Ash tree on his forearm, which was symbolic of the lowest caste of his clan, Alfhiem was already unliked. He was stripped of his royal name, Yggrasil, and bannished for insolence whereafter he wandered alone in Norweld for 200 seasons. It was then he found the Sacred Ash and learned the Incantation Incineration from it's Dryad keeper. After mastering her wood-to-fire magic, he returned to his clan whereupon he cast the spell of incineration and destroyed the Castle of Yggdrasil. In the conflagration, while nearly all were attending the Feast of  Tusk, Beard and Ear, he fled with a few of the Ash caste--the only survivors--and settled in Norweld. 
 The settlement of Alfhiem, it's castle built around the Sacred Ash itself, grew and Alfhiem was crowned Lord Alfhiem at the Ceremony of the Moon's Flame [4/30/12].  Shortly thereafter he married Lady Blackangle--a human ruler of a small settlement of thieves. After their wedding and at the culmination of the reception, Lord Alfhiem cast Tenaril's spell of ultimate teleportation and moved his newly unified population to Kumala where the Sacred Ash now thrives--as do it's people.
 Shortly after the founding of the Citadel of the Ashen, at the Cermony of the Night's Fire [5/18/12], Lord Alfhiem dispatched Lady Blackangle to recruit others to join Ashen. Madame Pxhx, Urah the Herbalist and Dryad joined Ashen at the Ceremony of the Ashen Moon [5/22/12]. 
 Ashen holds the following alliances in highest regard: CROW, ~KD~, TNT+T?, DRUID & EVIL.
 Lord Alfhiem presently prepares for the Ceremony of the Star's Conflagration........
