         Players are reminded that 
         the use of third-party tools that grant unfair advantage within the game world of Illyriad is expressly forbidden.

Specifically, Part 3 of the 
        Terms & Conditions of Service that all players agree to on opening an Illyriad account reads:

"
        You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to our website without our express written consent."

Express written consent has been granted in limited circumstances, largely contained within the 
        Technology & Data subforum.
