Some was complaining there was no commentary with TD gone so here it is!
DAY 1
Not much to report on so far, we are only just over 24 hours into it though. Hotattack of Crow and Aradil of H? are leading the total count so far with 3 elementals each, both Air. The hottest contested alters appear to be at the Fire Alters at -500,500 and 500,-500 with tens of thousands of casualties already at both. The Fire Alter at -500,500 also had a massive friendly fire incident with Tanis of Curse trying to seize control from Selissa of his own alliance. Far from being bitter Selissa was reported as being happy as to the massive boost to their defensive rating. Over 22k souls lost their lives in the incidents there.

And really I jumped more than 130 places on the defense ranking. Not bad at all

Direb made me add it (at gunpoint). I recall coming into GC when you were talking about it earlier but it didn't click till he mentioned friendly fire after I'd originally posted it.
