There seems to be a glacier in the frozen north, and it appears to be moving and leaving "scoured bedrock" in its path. It is located around -774/848. Here is a picture of it. I'd say itcovers about 200 squares.
The white streak in the middle is the glacier, the brownish whitish part around it is the "scoured bedrock."

Interesting. How do you know that it is moving and what is the rate of movement ?

I think its rate of movement would be "glacial" and thus will probably never be visible over the average lifetime. There is at least one other that I know of as well.

Very nice... The idea of dynamic terrain is interesting. I believe active volcanoes were proposed some time ago, but the idea was ditched. Nobody wanted lava erupting onto their city.
I wonder what will become of unfortunate towns that lay in the glaciers path?

Unless they are Dwarves, they probably can move fast enough to avoid it... ;)
