I have the original Nook color, it's an eReader by Barnes and Noble and it has web abilities (much less than a modern tablet) and I decided to see what happens.

I am getting a security certificate message that says the validity of the illyriad.co.uk certificate expired in September of 2012.

I wonder if that is causing a lot of the problems?

And my PC still won't let me log in.

Edited:

So I went into my virus scanner and put *illyriad.co.uk into the exclusion sites and guess what? I can log in now, on Chrome, Firefox is still being stubborn, but it's let me further in than it has before.  So maybe I have some hope? (Firefox is also still putting in a lot of nonsense when I try to post to the forum from it.)

So my guess is that there is a a problem related to site security that Avast is saying it's not safe to log in here!

Current update:

After changing settings in Antiviral software twice and popups once in Chrome only, I can change pages by clicking the page and refreshing. I can sometimes see alliance chat, but not always (world is currently disabled). I cannot push buttons to make anything build, buildings or items. They display, but do not work, do not even get cursor spinning like trying to move screens normally does. Clicking on coordinates brings up the little popup, but nothing in there opens up the next screen that tells you how many harvesters of what type, for example.

It makes me want to cry.

My ISP is att.net in the US. Don't know if it is on that level or something else. I've about exhausted everything I know to try to make it work.

I feel for you, I've had lots of problems with Illy over the last 6 months. I also use AT&T and live in the U.S. It is not a problem on our end though, because I have no problems multitasking using multiple apps and having several pages open in several different games.

It all comes crashing down the minute I click on Illyriad.

It has gotten much better this last week. I don't suppose you've tried numerous other browsers, even the less known ones like Opera?

Also it might help, doubtful though, if you install Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0.

No, I haven't tried other browsers, well, save the basic android browser in semi-tablet and that is where it wouldn't let me pass the certificate error.

What is that framework if I may ask? I'm not geeky enough.

Ignore the XNA Framework, it goes with IE.

It's been 10 days since I could log in.

I really think there is an issue, even though it is not impacting very many of us. Whether that issue is at Illyriad, our ISP, or what, I have no clue. I just know I'm about to give it up. I've put a not too small amount of money into my accounts in this game that I now feel was wasted, along with about 18 months of my time.

It should be better now. Please let us know if not. Sorry for the issues!
