Granted! You know now that his evil plans include total destruction of your towns and when you resettle, your towns will only be able to produce lame goats as military units.

Granted, but they swamp your cities and wherever you go they come to siege you until eventually you quit the game, and without your hobby you fall into a state of deep depression and live a miserable, uneventful, friendless life.
 
I wish that I had hordes of obedient skeletons at my command.

 granted but they eat up all your food, drink up all your mead and beer and urinate all over your castle. Then leave as the easy food supply is now exhausted.

Granted, but you end up going back into time before ever making the wish and change the past before the wish was ever made.  This opens up a paradox in which you disappear.
