How about sitters? Can they see your friends list and does the account appear online to the friends when somebody is sitting? Technically, the real friend is not online, but the account is.

lol didnt think it had to be this hard really

i just wanted a friend list to message people quickly and send things and to be able to mass mail my friends, i really don't know if we should do the whole "see if im online or not thing", but i guess i will have to wait and see how it works...

like i said before, just make sure real friends are on that list or....could have acquaintance list and friends list...

Yes, if a sitter logged into your account your friends would see you as online and the sitter can see your friends list. Similar to how now someone can see your alliance online list and send/see mail while they are sitting your account.

Luna, is there any word yet from the technical side of things as to whether the chat memory features and such will be cookie-based or will otherwise reset if we clear our browser cache?

Uses browser local storage. We are providing an in-game way to clear specific saved settings so you don't have to clear everything if you only want to clear one thing.

OMG, another UI?  Confused Will this fix the stuff never fixed in the current one or are the same things going to be broken and ignored in the new one?  I quite frankly don't have the time or the stamina to go to yet another site to find info on this game.  All I want to know is if will you fix what has been broken and neglected since this current UI went into effect over a year ago like the mail system?  If it is a guaranteed fix then I am all for it.  If that isn't a priority, then I am not looking forward to troubleshooting another UI when what was suppose to be fixed in this one never got fixed in the 1st place.  The UI before this current one had a sub-par mail system and it carried over to this one with promises of less mail that never happened.  In fact we had even more places to see notifications rather than less!  Please tell me you are fixing that problem with this.

I'd like to suggest this fix for in notifications.
 When sending a caravan to another town it says "You has dispatched caravans to" which is strange grammar.

i think its saying that as a player indication.  *EF has dispatched vans to your town*  *you* have dispatched vans.  if you click on the you it goes to your profile.

so im going to fall back on my theory of indicating which player is sending vans

Yes, e.g., the Illy markup [@p=dunnoob|121554|SKR|484|3|0] ... is expanded into dunnoob ... for everybody, only player 121554 (= me) sees it as you ...  The final 0 indicates male in the popup info, female is 1.  The 3 is the 3rd race, 1.. 4 indicate human, elf, dwarf, or orc.   484 is the alliance number.  

The values do not necessarily match the player number, I have lots of fun with updating the alliance info (or even the name) for player  395 in my profile.  The variant  [@ps=dunnoob|121554|SKR|484|3|0] ... is expanded into  dunnoob's ... for everybody, or your ... for player 121554.  The script expanding these constructs could automatically replace has by have as a special case, but frankly I hope the devs don't add minor grammar kludges before they run out of serious bugs or missing trade v2 features starting with water sov.
