We have another feature preview for you available at the dev blog. This time we are taking a look at some of the new avatar customization options that we are looking to add to the game.

(Standard disclaimers: We don't have any release date in mind for this yet. And for anyone who may say "yeah but what about such and such feature," no the avatar artwork is not the reason for the delay in any other feature like equipping or anything else. We've been working on these for a while and I just thought I'd share them today because they are looking quite cool IMO.)

They look great, I'm not one for normally caring about cosmetic things and prefer gameplay to matter, but if they look as good as those picture I will probably pay prestige for them.

Special custom avatars could also serve as very nice rewards for players/alliances who win tournaments or other contests such as those that occasionally crop up on the forums...

nice, also with this adding the option to remove it maybe tho i think you would quickly lose money as people just put their own pics in :P

I'm not sure what you mean by that but we are not going to add the option for people to remove their avatars.
