I have done this tactic only once before.  I sent three sieges to a city.  The first had to lower the population to _____ to capture it - and with two other sieges on it, it hastened this process.  The second siege sent the killing blow to reach the population for the first siege to storm the city - and thus I razed the city quickly and efficiently with the first siege.

This method is advantageous if the opponent fails to notice which siege hit first and sends an attack to siege two or three.  Siege one should always be the primary target as it is the one which will sooner be able to storm and capture/raze the city.

Thanks SS!! This was new information for me. Smile

(^_^)  You are very welcome.  I like how there is always something new to be learned in this game.

well well.
i decided that i myself will take down voliarum.
and i mean burn it to the ground.
since no one of our own seems to care, i will make sure that the town doesn't falls into the hands of anyone at all!

Kilo, can I suggest a compromise -- whoever captures the city can Exodus it.

Just an idea.

it's about pride i think? maybe it's just me, but this is something i really care about.
Edit: meaning, i will see that town burn before handing it over to anyone.
Edit2: i posted this to make sure ppl that are currently sieging or have in mind to send siege, to know my intentions

How dare those dimunitive walking carpets lay claim to any cities or land in Illyria. I call upon all players who believe in the fun element of this contest, in honour of my bestest friend the Emprah Lorre to rise up and target DLord cities instead of Lorre's cities.

Send in you siege armies, battering rams and catapults with the cry "All Hail Da Emprah!" and drive these mountain dwelling miscreants underground where they belong. Yes! XD

bla bla bla celeb.
if you can't read, then bury yourself.
that are our towns.
so, to honour Lorre's memory, i would rather see that town blown to derbies then in the hands of anyone else but a DLord.
and this capture tournament is a friendly competition. no hard feelings are mixed in this.

however on your post above that Aluria is clearly in Dlord terretory volarium is on the border tho so ofcourse i expect Dlords to take a bid for it just like i would expect others near volarium to try and take it.

anyhow enjoy the cities all :)

kilo we had that all
and i must say that some of my cities were razed wasnt really happy to hear that.

The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.
