So people have all the bows researched and still no spirit bow? Dang it I'm a week away from all the research! Effort wasted...

Another thought after some GC conversation was this: There are many structures that we take for granted across the map. Camps, lodges, buildings, ruined towers and the like. One interesting structure is the House of the Spirits. I have noticed them in Laoshin, and I wonder if maybe something like this could hold the key.

The House of Spirits are sprinkled across the map much like "ruined temples" in Kumala.
I think you would have to find a "specially" named one along the lines of the Fortune Teller vs. Gypsy Camp.

I am beginning to think no location based event is required to discover the bow, or the orc sword, dwarvish plate, or human mail.
There must be some hidden achievement required to unlock these items... maybe crafting X amount of items?
Any elves out there that have crafted over 1,000 special bows? 10,000? 100 of each?

I would like to add that given the GM's obsession (and rightly so) with game balance it is likelly that the bow is a discovery available to most players. In other words, I do not believe its about internal city structure levels or highly advanced tech's.
That leaves me to suspect outside city environment primarily. Also since seemingly no race has found their speciality its most likely to me that the discovery will be available at next expansion.
Just my thoughts.

It has been confirmed by SC that these discoveries are already available, therefore clearly it is just something none of us have accomplished or done yet that unlocks them.

I am currently on a quest to do all bow research, upgrade mage tower and library to 20 and get 1 million mana and research points, hoping this is the answer

I have tried reading 10K books in a fully researched crafting town. This down not yield any result.
