When downgrading sovs, wish it would tell you time remaining for downgrading and not the time it would take if you were to upgrade somehow starting from that point in the downgrade.

+1

Sov window is the one most in need of an update/bug fix/rework.  It's confusing, frequently shows bad/incorrect info and is just frustrating to use.

Also - please can we have a "relinquish 1 level of sov" option.

FYI-- One thing that I didn't know, but found out recently and it has helped me a lot is that if you are downgrading sov on a square and want to go from, say sov 5 to sov 4, you can let it tick down to sov 3 and falling, drop a troop on it and claim sov and it will immediately start rising. (You don't have to let it go all the way down to build it back up). If I had known that earlier I would have saved quite a bit of time, so hopefully it is helpful for you all...

+1 on the downgrading sov needs to be fixed.  I don't even have that much sov and I already find it annoying.

+1, +1, and +1.
The Sov window is a mess, pretty much no matter what process you're undertaking, but especially in cases of wanting to downgrade.
To follow on Kumomoto's post, I think it's actually possible to "halt" the downgrade at the level you want just by occupying and claiming sov when it gets down to the desired level, i.e. you don't have to go *past* it then re-upgrade.
A clarification and sorting through by the devs would be ever so appreciated :)

I also want to point that I discovered it's impossible to demolish a sov building once you've initiated the sov claim downgrade. IOW, you keep paying for the building until the downgrade happens, a much lengthier process than the demolishing takes.
So, I recommend demolishing first, to get rid of the upkeep, and then initiate the sov claim downgrade.

Yeah - been caught by that one too.  It's my darn sov building I should be able to demolish if I want to.  Smile

I had a whole page of sov improvements/fixes/ideas way down the suggestions forum somewhere - think it already has these ideas in it pretty much.

I have just run into this as well.  I was about to post a new thread saying this, then thought I would so a search for it instead.  I am surprised this was not set up yet.  Please, DEV team, help us with this.
