The behaviour for IE9 and Chrome from my POV with TCPVIEW is almost the same: For each attempt there are two connections to
199.167.146.104 sending up to 50KB -- IIRC that's by far not enough, it should be at least 150KB. After that nothing happens over the wire, and both connections to this IP are closed. Without any connection to
199.167.146.104
it's dead, Jim.

Thanks, elgea-notify works, for whatever my ISP considers as "reduced bandwidth like GPRS":

That's some crazy ping times... What do you mean by "reduced bandwidth like GPRS"?
If you are on reduced bandwidth, this might not have helped as you will need to re download everything:

Update: Clearing the cache made it worse, now I'm down to no working Illy tab at all, and tracertclaims that notify.illyriad.co.uk doesn't exist. I can ping 199.167.146.104, is that the IP fornotify? |

Some European mobile broadband providers offer a "flat rate" with 5 GB at UMTS speed per month, after that they limit the bandwidth to GPRS speed (old cell phone standard, roughly like a modem).
Yeah, not the best time to clear the cache, but in two days I get the next 5 GB. The timing problem with the hanging script occurs before the huge
"all images from scratch" downloads, I never arrive at the point where empty IE9 or Chrome caches would seriously hurt... ;-)

One open WLAN isn't connected to the Internet, and all others are secured... Oops, while writing this the WLAN went online.
Opening several working Illy Tabs, before the owners kick the uninvited guest using their bandwidth. It's healthy, four open Illy tabs, four connections with
elgea-notify. I can't say when I cleared the cache the last time before today. There was a time in 2012 when a login from scratch worked with modem speed (slow, of course, but not hanging at the top of the welcome page.)

After becoming able to login 8 hours ago... I am still unable to do anything the page just doesn't load is my part of the internet being really slow updating or is it something else?
Update: I tried to open the site on my phone and got the same issue, turned wifi off and it worked over 3G would that suggest a problem with my ISP's DNS servers?

Have exactly the same issue as lethargic. Town screen does not load. What's weird is that it WAS working just less than an hour ago :/
*Update: Works fine now!

Now I'm having this same issue. I can't scroll up or down on the page, the chatbox is cut off for me, as you can see I can't see any building queue on the right side. It looks like only the right side window is messed up, I am able to do everything on the main window fine. Have tried refreshing multiple times and restarting chrome.
