He was only inevitably answering what you asked and it is not a breach of privacy if TCO before posted on the forums he was leaving. He therefore did not mind people knowing he was leaving the game so it would seem pointless that it would need to be kept secret that he requested it. |
But is he really leaving the game or is he closing his account and starting a new one that people don't know about? If he says he's quitting, provided people believe him, no one is going to suspect he will continue to play. Now that people know his account is shut down then in turn know that he might make a new account. So now it's possible the next guy to publicly dislike the Crows might get tags as TCO. It's possible none of this will happen but it still seems like information that shouldn't have been given.

Also by just telling you the reason for his suspension it immediately expels any implications or thoughts of any other reason he may hav e been suspended (for any actions or other such things)

But why would that matter? If he's gone, he's gone. It doesn't matter why. If he's actually quit, he certainly shouldn't care what people thought of him and if he hasn't quit, regardless of why his account was suspended people didn't seem to think very highly of him anyway. It's possible he asked for his account to be closed simply because of his bad reputation so furthering it shouldn't matter.

Hi all,
To confirm: we don't generally talk about why people's accounts are suspended.
However, in the case of a player who has publically stated that he is abandoning an account, we don't mind confirming the fact - for the avoidance of doubt.

SC

In this case we merely confirmed what the player himself had already clearly stated in public.
That being, that the account was suspended on the players explicit request, not because we suspected any illegal behaviour.

Your call makes no sense, just because they have lots of members doesn't mean we should attack them, i mean the same can be said for the Curse of The Wolves and Harmless , they both have lots if members and are both very powerful, does that mean we are going to attack them? HELL no! they'll kill us all...... slowly
Because of this I'm going to ignore your call and watch this resistance fail..
