Combat Bonuses

         I'm not sure how the bonuses work.  My understanding is as follows: please correct me if I have it wrong!
        
         

        
        
         Commander bonuses: self - applies only to the combat value of the division commander (not to other commanders or troops within any division).
        
        
         Commander bonuses: division - applies to the combat value of the division commander and all troops in that division only (not to other divisions commanded by other commanders).
        
        
         Equipment: - applies only to whoever is wearing the equipment.
        
        
         Elite Devisions: - applies to commanders and troops in that division - everything doubled
        
        
         

        
        
         In particular, I'm not sure if bonuses add in any way before they are applied.  For example, if I have 5 commanders in an army of 5 divisions, is my division cavalry attack bonus maximum 10% x combat value, or 50% x combat value?  You get the picture!
