OK, I must have missed something - I just signed up for the game, and I was apparently automatically made a "Human Male". I'm not a male, and I would have chosen elf, if given a choice ...  so, where do I change my character?

You cannot change your character.  If you just started, it would be advisable to abandon your account and start another with your preferred race and gender.  Unfortunately you will not be able to re-use the name, although you can use a very similar one.

Thanks, Rill - I did that, and saw where I was supposed to choose my character this time, and it even let me keep my name! Thanks for your help!

Brilliant, the devs told us that they removed this feature, but it's actually nice for cases like this.  I abandoned the first dunnoob when he got stuck in the tutorial, so better don't try to outsmart the tutorial by building a huge library too soon, or similar. Wink
