If you don't want to be a part of it, there is a Quit button at bottom of the alliance page. That might help.
It is all about priorities, if you value your friends over incoming attacks/losing cities etc. then stay and fight, else leave.

This is the whole Illyriad forum you posted and so it is open for EVERYONE to comment upon what everyone else is saying ... if you really wanted an exclusive answer you should have IGMed the H? leadership, but since you made a public forum topic then you have to accept public opinion, as well.

Ah semantics. I guess I should have said "why is someone from Aesir clarifying the intentions of Harmless". Everyone has a right to express their opinion, and will do so freely, especially on Internet forums. :)

As for why I asked here in the forums, members of H have made public statements here that this is a war against leadership, active in the fight and etc.
So why shouldnt I ask here to clarify that statement?
And as I have said before, but looks like I need to stress, if I am being attacked because it is war, then so be it. I can't exactly say I don't have a problem with that,
 since I will likely lose my cities, and I kinda like my cities. But being attacked because it is war is a perfectly acceptable reason.
But then that would mean the scope of this war was much broader than other statements H has made prior.
And so far the only reasons that have been stated for my being attacked are; that I am annoying because I harvest the animal parts off NPCs I kill near my cities, and because I have cities in an area where H would like their cities. Even though those cities have been there for months and are all outside of their 10 square radius.
Maybe it's just me, but those don't seem like reasons at all, and it causes me to lean towards the idea that H wants a more open war than they have publically stated. And before someone asks why this is Forum business, I ask why wouldn't it be forum business?
So if they wish to openly war on me, so be it!
I made a ton of mistakes on those cities anyways, so I welcome a chance to rebuild.

Your alliance is at war. Expect to be attacked, if you don't want to be attacked then leave the alliance. If you want both you better convince your leadership that they better stop the war because you are getting attacked.
Your cities are within a stone throw of many enemy cities. In fact I imagine you see a few blips of green and then a sea of red. The very fact that you would be in an alliance at war in the middle of your enemy and think you will not be attacked means you to used to playing sims. Perhaps that would be better suited for you, because in Illyriad you can be attacked. In fact thats the entire point of the game. If you couldn't be attacked there would be no reason to build cities. You could say to trade, but that would be useless to as well no1 needs to buy a ton of resources for troops that don't do anything. Illy is a game of warfare man up or go play hello kitty.
But if you want to sit on the forums and complain i'm sure people on here will be willing to explain how stupid the hope of not getting attacked in the middle of war is.

Thes, look to your leaders, they declared war, they did not have to, you are living with the consequences of their actions. I suggest that if this is becoming too much for you, leave the alliance, and join one that does not declare war against other alliances. I am truly sorry if this upsets you.

And an update to my original post. It appears Wtower's long slow attack on Yi was a feint. So I may not get a chance to rebuild that city better, faster and stronger. There is still one more slow attack incoming on my Capital, so I might yet get the chance.

Good luck with your begging for mercy. Hope it amused the rest of the server as much as it does us. Now let us fight like men not children.
And H? has made no grand claims of territory. But if you want I will, no longer will there be any room on Elgea for the war mongers of Consone. Elgea will be free of those who would declare war and then cry about being attacked on the forums. It will take some doing but we will eventually be able to get rid of those who keep mucking up our forums with annoying posts.
