Topic: -5% of what? Posted: 03 Aug 2012 at 02:04 |
Regarding the newly released equipment, I noticed a few unclear stats.
Example: the Heavy Warhorse:
+5% attack, -5% move speed, +10% Carry,
-5% on hills, mountains; in forests, Arctic, Desert, and Jungle
Question is: -5% of what in these regions? of the carry? or the speed? or everything?? (the last one seems a little scary)
Or is it a matter of -5% of the stat immediately before it? in this case, carry?
Same question goes for the region-specific armor and weapons:
Desert Spear: -4% in Arctic, +6% in Desert, - 4% in Jungle
I assume weapon stat only affects attack, and armor, defense?
And if def, what defense? all?
Thanks!

To all attack and defence values (The adjustments are additive and applied to base unit stats - before other bonuses).

So is that +5% increase on everything, then a -5% decrease on hills, mountains; in forests, Arctic, Desert, and Jungle, meaning they cancel each other out and there is no decrease or increase on said areas?
Or is it a +5% attack on everything that is not hills, mountains; in forests, Arctic, Desert, and Jungle and then a -5% on them?
Perhaps these should be reworded to make them more understandable.

These are unit stat adjustments - after which are then applied things like terrain, divisional bonuses etc. So the other bonuses (added together) multiply the equipment bonuses.

Perhaps just stating "-5%
atk/def on hills etc..." would at least help?

Some items have race specific bonuses like +2% orcs or -120% elves. Does this include speed, carrying capacity or just attack/defence ?

I think all percentage bonuses mentioned without specifying the type are for "all attack and defense values".
