Actually I find it interesting that animals coexist on the same square. I'm not sure this is a bug. I actually like it.

Ok my level of frustration is soaring. I've submitted petitions only to have replies that the troops are on the way (no one bothered to check the maps or they would have seen they haven't moved). The petitions have been "politely" closed without checking resolution and I've reopened them.
Now in GC:
[13:52]
GM Stormcrow [DEVS]: Armies currently on beaches will return when their occupation timers complete.
While that may resolve the occupation of some of my armies, I have a few armies that no longer show occupation time. What happens with those armies?
Again, the ability to send armies to a water square was not tested for the ability to recall troops. Devs, if you don't want us to use a feature, don't release it. :(
Edit: Another issue, you might want to check the graph on the market, if I hover my mouse over the graph it colors the background red.

I'm sorry to hear that, Starry; my fault entirely for announcing that all stuck armies were "fixed".
I hadn't expected that players would send armies out to occupy oceanic and coastline squares, and the ability to do so was unintentionally released - our apologies for permitting this action.
For every petition we get saying "please return my army" we also get one saying "please don't repatriate my army, it's where I want it for the imminent release".
However I've made a blanket decision, and the last 52 armies that were 'stuck', unrecallably on ocean and coastline squares have now been forcibly repatriated. We will permit them to return once the functionality is actually intended for release.
Regards,
SC

Can you introduce amphibious Orcs please and call them Snorcels?
Speaking of which... I've already subdued the local fish population and had them build me a number of pondweed farms and underwater training grounds. Snorkel production is running at 100%.

Btw re: the wild dog/rat thing I was on about earlier... the rats left the square and the 1 pup remained. Basically just seems like animal NPCs can accidentally camp out on the same spot. Or maybe not an accident, seems like something that should be allowed imo. Still there is a display glitch where it isn't sure if there's rats or dogs or both on the square.

Maybe you can train your rat dogs to be amphibious mounts for your Snorcels? ;)

I'm curious to know what is the official position for players who now have developing coastal sovereignty resulting from what's was basically an exploit (knowingly
or unknowingly) of what seems to have been a bug regarding the movement of troops?
I was alerted to this via suspicious tin foil hat rumblings in GC.
Would it not be prudent in the sake of fairness to ask that everyone's ability to occupy and make initial sovereignty claims all begin at the same time?

These claims will be rescinded - everyone will start at the same time.
